Live webcams across Spain, on a map lit by the sun as it is right now.
Weather data tells one story. Charts, satellite composites, radar sweeps, and forecaster text paint a picture of what the atmosphere is doing across Spain. But sometimes the best way to understand what the weather actually feels like on the ground is simply to look outside.
Here are some webcams you can look at to get a feel for the local weather in Spain. We don't control these feeds, but we'll try to keep them up to date.
Each view comes with its local time, where the sun is, and the current conditions, so you know what you're looking at before you press play.
Puerto del Carmen beach, Lanzarote — useful for spotting calima haze, wave conditions, and cloud cover over the eastern Canaries.
Fuengirola beach and port — a reliable read on Costa del Sol conditions.
Can Pastilla, Mallorca — a window into Balearic conditions, just east of Palma.
Cala Agulla, Capdepera — the north-east tip of Mallorca, facing the open Mediterranean.
A few things a webcam shows faster than any chart:
Usually Saharan dust (calima). Check the dust reading on the card: above about 50 µg/m³ the haze is easy to see.
Scattered whitecaps start at about 20 km/h of wind. Lots of them means a breezy beach day and choppy water.
Golden hour. Drag the time slider above to see when the sun sets at each camera, and when the view will go dark.
Radar, satellite and AEMET forecasts for every town and beach in Spain are in the Spain Weather app.
