Teide cable car forecast

Planning a visit to Teide during your stay on Tenerife? The mountain is exposed to strong high-altitude winds, and the cable car can close because of the weather. Premium users can now see the probability that the cable car is closed on each of the next 15 days, so you can avoid planning your trip on a day when it's likely to be closed.

Briefing view

The app now opens in the Briefing view. If one of your favourite places matters most to you, pin it. You get the hourly forecast, the regional text forecast in your language, and quick access to radar and satellite animations to see if rain or clouds are heading your way.

Meteosat Third Generation (MTG)

Premium users get higher-resolution satellite images from Europe's newest weather satellite. MTG also shows suspended Saharan sand (calima) more clearly.
